Ummmm ... actually some of us can do that ops: We were dancing at a show this past weekend. Must admit not as professional, but not bad for an old girl.

If you watch carefully none of the moves are difficult, apart from the half-pass. They are all natural movements. The trick is to get work out the signals for what you want the dog to do and to put them together in a routine.

Try it, it's great fun. Just very simple steps can look quite impressive when put to music.

That's my trouble eRaze. Hannah is very good, but I get horribly self-conscious. I'm fine when no-one is watching, but get stage fright in front of an audience. Oh well, only another 4 or 5 shows to do this season.

Stage Fright eek! I remember when i was quite young and I was a right little entrepenour, anyway I met this man who wanted to start up a business but he must of thought I was lacking in confidence because he told me he was a regular at a 'get together' where everyone took it in turns to get up at the front and give a speech, as it was intended to boost ur confidance in public. Anything like that up yourway? I can't remember what he called it now! I kno it's not the same but it helps u get used to being the centre of public attention.. It's practise thas all!

What kind of Shows are they SB? get someone to take pics for us!

I know what you mean eRaze, we have those groups here, but I can't think what the society is called.

We are part of our training club's demonstration team. We do agricultural shows, school fairs, community events, etc. It was a dog expo at the weekend and we have the lighting of the Christmas tree in the city next week. We do obedience, agility, tricks, flyball, and (heaven help us) dancing

Will try to find some pics.

Jeanette - what can Luna do? For example, will she turn circles beside you; walk backwards; offer a paw; roll over; weave through your legs; etc. ? Just simple things like that can be put together to music.
