Hello from Turkey
Hello everyone.
I chose the name 'Kopek' as that is Turkish for dog. It is pronounced kurpek.
At the moment I only have one Heinz dog but at one time I had five.
My real love is yorkshire terriers and I brought my two from the UK to Turkey back in 92 but then we rescued a street dog who kindly presented us with eight pups, two of which we kept. Alas they have all, one by one, gone but another dog joined us in 2002 and he is still with us. His name is a very mundane 'Doggie'.
I'd love some more yorkies but I go back to the UK several times a year to see family and friends and while the big dogs were/are quite happy to be fed and walked by someone else my yorkies used to pine.
