A good day at Dublin

We were at an FCI show at Dublin today under Frank Kane, and we enjoyed our day. Nothing spectacular - but the sun shone most of the time, we had a huge ring, the judging was excellent and good humoured, Deccy got an "excellent" grading again and went superbly - the best 60 seconds running round a ring I can remember. Got no further but I was pleased with him, he is usually wary of male judges but when Frank was looking at his front end and teeth I had him on a completely loose lead and he stood still with his tail wagging! Now that IS progress!!!
Polly went Best Veteran in breed but by the time the Veterans group came on (5pm!) she was thoroughly bored even though she'd had a sleep in the van, and blew it never mind at nearly 10 she's entitled but I still think that peeing in the ring on the nice blue carpet was taking her point a bit far, even for her
