Agree with what has been said above. Also it is sometimes important to recognise when you need to give your dog a break from the show ring and let it mature up before putting it back in. This can be anytime. Just for an example. My boy was shown until he was 2, he was then pulled out of champ shows for six months as he looking very immature against his class. When he went back in I didn't realise how much he had come on and he went straight into limit and did very well. He's up in open now buck lacking coat and a bit of condition due to trying to get weight on him. So he's now pulled out until December or perhaps even next year. So it's being totally about your dog. He may have good shape and movement to die for but if your mind he's looking immature and getting chucked because of it. Pull him out.
