My mum decided she wanted a hunting style collar so the material I had wouldn't have been long enough on it's own.

I've made an overlay collar for her today with the black as the base and brown overlay in a hunting style which adjusts from 15 inch to 18 inch.
He is a similar size to my collie so I have used her as a model.

She's lovely and that size should be fine it's the size my welsh have.
