Looking for new collars.

Hello.

As some of you might know, I have got five dogs. They have their present collars for over a year now and I think it is time for a change.

I am having problems as each one have their own personal colour
Jack is Blue, Eddy is Red, Frankie is Purple, Billy is Pink and Toby is Green.

So they must have their colour in their collar.

I am willing to spend between £10 and £15 per collar (maybe more if it is worth it)

Thank you in advance.

Tell me more!

I have very active dogs who like nothing better than getting wet and muddy.

Did you want any kind of collar in particular? Leather, nylon, fabric? Plain, patterned? Buckles, clips, martingale?

I bought a couple of nylon longlines off a seller on Ebay and he does collars too, in various colours

All I really ask is that they got to be hard wearing, able to cope with all elements.

I would prefer clips if possible in case of emergencies, the clips would have be very strong as although my dogs doesn't pull, there might be moments where they (especially the springers) see something and lunge toward it.

I do like the plain ones - I will email the seller to ask for pictures of the colours.

I am too fussy!

Dublin Dog make a great range of waterproof rubber collars, in a wide variety of colours and designs. However they will be at the top end of your budget, possibly more depending on where you purchase them from. They are great for dogs who get dirty though.

These fleece lined collars are also great:

Very comfortable and lightweight for the dog to wear, comes in LOADS of colours and are easily washable.

If you check out his shop there are photos of other items and of the webbing itself

He makes items for horses so imagine it's all pretty strong. I'm impressed by the quality of the finishings and fittings on the long lines, especially for the price I paid

I got mine from Waggit http://www.waggitt.co.uk/acatalog/CL...S_COLLARS.html

They are personalised if you want and come in a wide variety of colours. My dog swims in hers every day and it seems to be holding up well!

Orvis also do loads of colours of collars: http://www.orvis.co.uk/store/product...subcat_id=6274

Wow.

I am spoilt for choices!

I will think about everything carefully and throughly. Hopefully within 2 weeks, I will be posting photos of them in their smart new collars
