Any one been...........

Has anyone been to Lanzarote? My sister is wanting to rent a Villa for a month so family can go and visit too - Anyone that has been to Lanzarote with any tips, where to go or not to go to would be gratefully received.

We've been -we stayed in Playa Blanca -one of the quieter parts
there are some beaches which are only accessable through a nature reserve type place -Papagayo I think its called ..there are about 5 beaches here -the main one (Papagayo ) does get a bit busy but the others are lovely much quieter -but you have to take your own food and water -we thought Palya Blanca had a much less touristy feel about it and was much more Spanish than some of the other resorts -the market at Teguise is worth a look too ( carefull what you buy tho lol )

Hi Murphy, our villa is in playa blanca, your right, its the quieter end of the island, but in my opinion the nicest beautiful beaches, shops , bar restuarants, and also the warmer end of the island, what more can you ask for!
