Happy New Year. I am so glad I remembered to let Barney out to toilet before 12. There is no way he would go now with all the fireworks going off. Hope everyone has a good 2010.

i have an elderly collie who thank god is slightly deaf so unaware but my jrt pup is terrified of the fireworks. i've tried distracting her but to no avail. i hate them too. i hope your old boy is ok, if you have any lavender in the house that is supposed to be a calming scent.
