went to pets at home today - saw a lovely 200 litre tank with everything - filter/heather/etc... and stand

300 quid.... not bad i dont think.... im looking on ebay etc today and shopping round as i am prepared to pay that but i might even wait a couple more months (After xmas) and get an even bigger one lol!

just bumping this up... to show my recent pic!

bought this tank off ebay..... set it up - its only been running since wednesday - normally far too early to add fish but i already had the blackmoore/goldfish etc.... and the tank was majorly bad.... so either chance it in the big one or let them die (the tank was majorly overcrounded etc and the water was cr*p)

anyhow!

sooo there are living it up atm in the big 40- inch tank and havent realised that there is more than just the one side they are swimming up and down

i have ordered another 25 plants off ebay lol!

ivve not seen the goldfish so happy!!! they are eating all my plants which is fab! lol! got some fake and some real!

i think im going to go for sum guppies, neons and something else.... hmmmmmm

What do you think of Siamese Fighters. They are by far one of my faves ! Always have one of them ! x

they cant only go alone though cant they? unless they are female??

can you have 1 male and 1 female?

im not bothered about them breeding as the guppy i'll be getting will produce one batch amonth apparantly lol!

not going to max my tank out, just have little fish and lots of colour! even the goldfish atm are intresting to watchin in a big tank - boring ina little one!!!

Yep! Only one male per tank, or they will fight to death But think you can have more than on female, although thy not as colourful.

Have you seen Glass Catfish, they are wicked, would love some of them too

yes i plan to get some of those too lol!!!

i wanted a lobster but they would eat the small fish! so im sticking to just pure fish and mabey a shrimp or 2 lol!

definately want a big plec - they dont eat smaller fish do they???

No, plec arw quite peaceful. My last two, in my 1st tank years ago, they grew massive ! ! ! ! Fab looking as well ! !
