dog poisoned

my friends JRT was poisoned on friday night due to eating a poisoned mouse.He thought he was gonna be ok after seeing the vet straight away but is now back at the vets with kidney failure.can we hold out any hope for him realistically as the vets keeping him in for observation and further tests ??

Hope hes ok-
although if it contains warfarin they can haemorrhage internally (sp)

That is terrible sad to say does not sound very hopeful not if he goes into kidney failure...
