I have a Designer Crossbreed!

Have you ever discovered that your dog was not the breed you thought he was?

A family went past me today and the kids asked - What sort of dog is that?
It`s a Great Dane crossed with a Chocolate Labrador opined the mother confidently, then carried on talking about the `breed`.
I would have said something but I was giggling too much.
Here is the Designer Dog himself.

This is a perfect example of what Mrs. S and I used to call "Canis sp." (Species of dog) - no discernible variety.

He`s £120 from Allbreeds - and believe or not he`s a shorthaired pointer! It`s the cowboy tail job and the late neuter that makes him look so bulky We think he was a stud - he certainly wasn`t worked. And he is flippin enormous for a GSP.
Hey - or maybe the woman was right
What do you think?

Don't you just love it when people know better than you, even if it's your own dog!!

He is gorgeous though!! I love GSP's!!
(Hoping to add one to my collection next year sometime!!!!!)

I often get told the Misty is most definatly a purebreed springer, even when I insist that she is a cross, it's No, I'm wrong, I don't know my dog!!
