Reading to Bulith Wells

Does any one know how long it takes to travel from Reading to Builith Wells please.
We're thinking of going to Royal Berkshire GF but we have a champ show on the Sunday so Ian will need to travel we're wondering if its feasible.

Hi,

At a guess (havin travelled to Wales a lot), I think you're abou 150 miles away and it'll most likely take around 3-3 1/2 hours by car.
Personally I'd travel along the M4, cut across near Bristol and then drive north up to Powys.

There may be a quicker or easier route but I tend to stay on the main roads and motorways when I have a time limit, otherwise I have bene known to take the scenic route (and get horribly lost too).

I don't know about travel by train or coach though.

Its a right pain to get there, lots of prettey roads.

id go M4 to cardiff, up the A470 & over the brecon beacons. Takes a hour from the m4/A470 junc (junc 32, readng is approx 8/9 isnt it)

Youd be looking 3-4 hours depending on how fast you will go on Mway.

Some of M4 in wales is 50mph atm, & may be shut completly until 6am from junc 24,

Inwhich case go UP the M5 then across (but ive never been this way)

you could also get tio junc 24then go up (5 mins from bridge)
