Dangerous Dogs phone in Radio 5 now

They just had the Met. Police Dangerous dogs officer on - extremely sensible man! In spite of the presenter trying to make him say some dogs were born `bad` he explained how dogs like staffs and pits are eager to please and therefore can easily be trained to fight as well as to be gentle - and that was why they were used.
He also mentioned the legislation going through now.
I`ll listen till the usual hysterical ignorant nutters start ranting....

Thank goodness he sounds sensible. Makes a change from the expert morons when the DDA first came out!

Bet the presenter was somewhat annoyed then as they aren't going to get the mass histeria that the media seem to enjoy so much. Glad someone knows what they are talking about!

My dads italian and i have never seen any dogs muzzled out there ever. They are left to roam which I don't agree with.

It's the owner not the dog!!! We have been saying that for years.

This guy knows what he's talking about ...very interesting, would love to read that research.

Thank God someone is talking sense. But it shows you just how many people believe in the pack leader hierachy nonense.
