I really wish I could help! But I just spent $200 on my own rescue Border Collie... He's going in to get neutered on Wednsday, then on a plane to Ottawa in 2 weeks. So this boy is costing me approx $1000, with only $400 coming back to me. Buck is extremely skinny too, full of worms, but no physical problems, except a notch in his lip where it healed funny after being kicked by a horse.

Good luck with Winnie (I do like Charity for a name too!) I'm hoping you get lots of donations for her care. And that her leg gets better with exercise, and not something that requires surgery.

She was very quiet during the night but I came down to find lots of sick...which I think is my fault for feeding her the puppy food.
She has eaten breakfast, hopefully this will stay down her. I only gave her a very tiny amount. She seems more confident- trying to climb on my knee as I type this!

The more I look at her leg the more I think it is a previous untreated injury. I'm going to phone her last owners and try to find out today.
