4 sleeps to go (not that I'm counting)

We got chickens tonight - all safely housed.

New chickens with existing dogs and cats then a new pup in the mix - I'm glad I've got next week off work.

My eldest daughter Hannah has already got his collar and tag ready.

I'll be sure to keep you posted. What can go wrong LOL

Excited yes, but I'm looking at the place wondering (or remembering) how much pups get into everything

Torrin (rather than Torren) was a name we'd considered. It's a place on the Isle of Skye.

Mij (pronounced same midge) was the other name we'd considered. Mij (Mijbil) was the otter in the film Ring of Bright Water - again a place we have connections with.

Much like when we've had babies - we've got names in mind but it's only when then finally arrive that you get a feel for something that fits them.

Perhaps something completely different will come from left field.

Anyway - I'm sure I'll be posting later on.

Hi Its going to be difficult everyone wants to see the puppy, but I have found that giving it time with yourselves first,as the puppy can get overexcited is the best for you and the puppy.crystalgirl

We live a long way away from anybody that may like to see him so it will only be us anyway.

I've no doubt the main issue will be explaining to the smaller kids that he's not a toy.

Anyway - that's me heading off to collect him now.

Catch you later !
