I only registered now because I know there's a waiting list.

He was born 9th Feb so he'll be 7 weeks on the 30th March and 8 weeks on 6th April.

I've not agreed an exact date to get him yet but originally he said around the end of March.

Next puppy training course starts in June by which time he'll be about 16 weeks or so which ties in quite well with vaccinations etc.

I'm hoping Hannah (13) will get as much from it as the pup but I'll obviously be going with her.

Oh yes I didn't think of waiting lists. I'm sure it will be an excellent bonding exercise for Hannah and "flash"

Had a call from the breeder today to say pup had his little hernia op and seems no worse for wear.

He's now the puppy pack leader by all accounts.

I'll be visiting again on Sunday with the kids.

oh Phil, what a sweetheart! Think he will be a fine addition to your gang. But, think you could have come up with another Scottish name to go with Skye and Breagh. How about Staffin? lol

I am going 'Scottish'. His breeder calls him Flash.

I think I'm going with Mij (as in Mijbil the otter form Gavin Maxwell's Ring of Bright Water) Sleat, Tigh and Torrin were on the shortlist.

Just caught this Phil. He is absolutely gorgeous. Glad he's come through his op well. Our first Dobe was kind of called after an otter... he was Tark and the otter was Tarka! Also my beautiful Gelert's birthday was 9th February, so he's bound to be a grand fella!!

Enjoy
