Rash remedy?

I have an awful (spotty) rash next to my new tattoo!
I suppose it's heat/nappy rash, but a few of the spots have heads on, like teenage spots!
It's from putting cream on the tattoo, and then wearing jeans/trousers all day!

I've been wearing shorts at home to make sure it's dry and been washing it twice a day with antibacterial soap.

Can anyone reccomend an (over the counter) cream that is any good at clearing up rashes?!

It's massive and hideous!

Do you have an aloe vera plant?

If you do cut a piece of the stem, squeeze the jelly middle out and spread that straight on to it. .....works for cuts, burns, rashes etc etc.

Or you can buy aloe vera gel.

the other thing is to take an antihistamine and use antihistamine cream on it.

Don't have an aloe vera plant, but do'h, didn't think of antihistamine!
I suppose it can't hurt to try taking antihistamine!
Can't tell if it's the rash itching or the tattoo

Baz swears by Bepanthen - it's nappy rash cream - and it soothes the skin really well.

Can be bought in any baby department in Boots, Superdrug etc.

Hope it clear up soon, honey x0x

No it won't hurt to take an antihistamine tablet. If it is just the tatoo that is itching then you could try putting some unscented moisterizer in the fridge and then putting that on it.

That would be nice and cooling.

I can't believe how quick my tattoo has actually healed (I won't use chemicals/creams on tattoos - I use a mix of more natural things called Tattoo Aftercare).

But cos I dont have much of an immune system, thats why i've got this darn rash!
Better be gone by my holiday! lol

I'd put sudocream on anything like that. Seems to work wonders for most things.
