What a handsome boy!
Love his happy face in the last pic

How big is he now?
Trying to work out if bigger or smaller than my Frodo!
He's about 28" shoulders to bum and 26" floor to shoulders

He is a whopping 32 kg and I'll get a tape measure to measure him. I really don't know how tall/long he is now!

Bluejay, I found a tape measure today for Nigredo. He is 25 1/2 from floor to shoulder and he is 29" shoulders to base of tail. So they are about the same size as of now lengthwise/heightwise.

Nigredo is 32 kg slight chubby... but who knows how large he is going to grow? He certainly hasn't stopped yet and vet expects growth until at least late summer. She said that 70 lb yearlings don't usually stop growing until nearly 2 years old.

I am sure Frodo will outgrow Nigredo length/height wise as he is a lurcher and I can't see Nigredo getting a lot taller. Nigredo is a purebred mutt and I truly have no idea what he is mixed with now.

Someone said he looked like Flat coated retriever instead of Labrador retriever. Another said they saw Norwegian Elkhound and Chow Chow, I've also heard Newfie and Mastino

Who knows!?

Haha. So funny. Remus doesn't fit on our two seat sofa anymore. He sort of fits if he curls up, but there's always a bit of him handing off.

Very tall guy. Nigredo isn't a lurcher and will NOT get that tall. He's bigger than he is tall. At 32 kg and growing... he is eating me out of house and home!

Took Remus to the vets today and weighed him.....can't remember what he was, I think 33.7. Not sure though. I cut his food recently because he had started doing big slushy poos so I thought I might be over feeding him....but within a week he went like a toast rack....so I've upped it again.
