I really didn't want to bring back the pain of everyone's losses. Although that is what seems to have happened. Sorry guys.

The reason I asked was, we had a phone call from a person wanting a boxer. She reconed her dog was 22 years!!! Now Moli you said 151/2. I have met you and know there is know way your 200!!!! If you are (what is your secret?)

What are your thoughts on a dog that is 22 years old?

the dog we had when I was a kid was about 13 or 14 I think when she had to be PTS due to a tumor on her neck
but when she was young and me I used to take her a walk to an area in Dundee near where I grew up and would somtimes meet a guy who's dog was 26 and he had another one he called his young one who was 19! ,it was meant to be the second oldest dog in the UK at the time

We have a lad in the rescue that was born on 16/02/1988 so he was 17 last month. He'll go for a walk if and when he wants. He is so funny. We got him in at 14 and had him in a foster home but had to move him quick as he kept mounting the girls there. Even now at 17 he'll have a go if a pretty wee girls comes his way. :smt049 :smt049 :smt049 Everyone in the rescue just loves him to bits.
