When did your dog start barking at the door?

Alfie has never done this so can't judge off him lol. But at what age did your dog start barking at the door/strangers?

Mine don't because I told them no. Dogs that bark at every noise annoy me. Our terrier that I got when she was 9 months barked at everything but now doesn't. I Know now that if they do bark there is good reason for it and go to investigate why.

Same as Max we had Ted when he was around two/three and he was barking at the door almost straight away. Although it took him a couple of months to work out the door bell .

When we got Reggie, the dog who was almost silent (Maggie) for ten months has turned into the stereotypical yappy terrier!!

Mine very rarely bark.

Copper has the occasional wee shouty session at nothing in particular though

Neither of mine bark at the door and never had. Lily will be 7 this year and Kyiro is 6 so don't suppose they ever will thank goodness.
In fact neither ever bark at any thing.
