Dutch's Crufts Day Out

Hi guys I know Im new here but just thought I would share my joy with everyone on Dutch's first Crufts visit.

Dutch is now 23 months so it was his last yearling class and as we were there for the day I also entered him in Undergraduate and with him having having passed his Gold KC Good Citizen I though I would enter him in this also just because I could.

Goes into the first class which was Yearling quite nervous but trying to relax and we made the short list and thought to myself way to go wee man and then we gets a VHC (5th)out of 10 so Im over the moon - I know it aint a first but at Crufts and any show for that matter every placing counts in my book. So away we go into Undergraduate happy and relaxed - we make the shortlisting again out of 13 and I thought to myself yipee wee boy we are getting another certificate we gets a Reserve (4th) well im over the moon and as his last class is at the very end goes and gets something to eat and try to calm my excitement.

We then goes into the Good Citizen class of 17 and the judge never made any shortlisting but pulled us out 2nd so I gets my blue rosette and will get a wee write up in the paper - can't wait. I think I flew home on a high on Saturday night what an unbelieveable day out for me and my wee boy for his first time there. I still cant believe its happened Ive got his rosette on the pinboard in the kitchen and everytime I look at it a huge smile comes over my face - sad or what.

Sorry for rabbiting on
