We didn't buy RATM's single...... but that's coz we have the album

I don't think it was about them, as about making sure ANYTHING but the X factor was No. 1.
Which is all good IMO as it just dumbs down the charts...... and shows that ultimately there is still people power over the charts.

Yes people keep saying this, but that wasn't what it is about.
It wasn't to stop Joe or anyone earning out of it, it was just to stop yet another Christmas no.1 automatically going to the X Factor winner.

This isn't about Simon though, IMO......He's got more than enough money!

This is about an 18 year old lad, who won the show......It's Joe I feel sorry for x

Syco Music, which Simon Cowell did establish, is a divison of Sony Music Entertainment.

Sony Music Entertainment is controlled by Sony Corporation of America, which is the US Subsidiary of Sony Corporation in Japan.

Simon does not benefit from sales of "Killing in the Name Of"

Sony themselves do alright from both though.

Anyway - it's nothing to do with that. It was more about people being able to make a stand against the whole X-Factor system by using another system to get an anti establishment song to the top.

I think Joe will do well regardless and I quite enjoy the X-Factor as a TV show.

i reckon joe is going to be huge. he may be disappointed over this but he has an extremely bright future in front of him! anyone who can sing alongside george michael and sound just as good will have no trouble making a future in the music bizz!
