Does life begin at 40?

Did you enjoy life after 40 or did you dread it ..?

I am half of 40... and all the stuff I half been through, I would expect someone double my age to have encountered

Having said that... I know many people who are 50+ years and now their kids have grown up and "flown the nest" they think they are 25 again

Yes!! after 20 years of 3 children & 2 step children much as I love them it's nice to be a somebody rather than just somebody's Mum
I loved it when they were young & I hated it when they were 14 ( they are now 15, 17, 19, 19 & 23 ) but things are good all round now & although hub & I don't see a great deal of each other due to work patterns we make an effort every couple of weeks & have "date night" & we go out on our own.
I also love that I'm still young enough (I think) to go out with the kids & not embarrass them
I still feel 18 in my head, it's just the body that gives it away that I'm 44

Oh heavens yes. In fact it gets progressively better from there on in.

40 today ..

I don't think age matters much, if you are in good health that is. My husband hired a bouncy castle for my 40th birthday-it was brilliant!

I didn't celebrate my fortieth, but I did my second 21st!
