Charity cycle in Sri Lanka for Dogstar

Not sure if this is the right forum to put this in or not but thought I'd post here since it seemed to be the most relevant.

We're promoting a cycle across Sri Lanka in October 2014 to raise some much needed funds for Dogstar Foundation. For more about Dogstar and its work, please see the website: www.dogstarfoundation.com

If you would consider this, please see below. If you know anyone who you think would want to do this, please feel free to crosspost/share to wherever!

Challenge: Cycle for Dogstar Sri Lanka

When: 2nd to 12th October 2014

Challenge yourself to the ultimate adventure of an 11 day charity bike ride in Sri Lanka and help us with our challenge to transform animal welfare

Take on the Dogstar cycle challenge in 2014 & experience first hand the natural beauty of our Tropical Island home Sri Lanka,

Sri Lanka, is an island in the Indian Ocean renowned for its natural beauty, fascinating culture and beautiful beaches. Our route combines these with fabulous, varied cycling as we ride from the northeast coast to the southwest, along the central highlands that form the spine of the country.

From paddy fields and lowland jungle to the twisting roads of the Knuckles mountains, onto tea plantations and British hill stations surrounded by cloudforest and waterfalls, this is a spectacular and diverse route. Coming down out of the hills to the southern plains, we finish our challenging ride at a beautiful beach.

Our Sri Lankan experience also takes in the medieval ruins of Polonnaruwa and the historic city of Kandy, two of the island’s most famous cultural attractions.
