Bah! Who needs an OH anyway (dog related)

Just had a rather big row (over the email) with my hubby re possibly getting a new pup....

He's still holding out, but can't give me any real reasons for not getting one, that I can't counter!

Think this might turn into a row when we get home

I might cry, that'll shut him up

LOL Definitely go with the crying...

But remember - if you do get another dog, it'll be his whilever it's good, but the moment it misbehaves it will be all your fault and he never wanted the dog anyway...

I'm having this trouble with my mum right now...

This already happens! If Max is being a grot-bag, he is my dog... but when he is good, he is the OH's dog....

I find that if I go very quiet and mope around for a few days I usually get what I want then. After nearly 40 years of marriage it still works.

So, crying, moping, all good plans so far!

Yep - crying, moping, all good...

See I had the added argument that I'm ill, can't go out like everyone else and don't have many friends as a result, so I needed the company of a dog

If the dogs are being good, they're the best thing mum ever did (because of how much they did for me), if they're being bad she didn't want them, I put too much pressure on her and I have to start looking for somewhere else to live

Similar story at my house lol but i have given up for now as i decided actually i dont want another pup until i can have 4 months off work so i can bond with the new pup the way i did with Vienna (cos i was off work)

But i have threatened that while OH may think he has 'won' if the oppertunity comes up for me to have 4 months off then we will be getting another member added to the family!!!

I'd go for the wobbly bottom lip, big sad eyes & tears everytime it totally freaks my OH out

I can definately see why you'd want that little one he is gorgeous & would look sooooo lovely with your Max!!

I was VERY tempted last week by some EBT x puppies but shock I agreed that we should wait until next year when Lou is a bit older. (Then again this plan might change once more if we end up taking in the neighbours dog )

Good luck tonight xx
