Why are they remaking all these 80s classics??!

why oh why are they remaking footloose?! this is on of my favourite films ever, and i absolutely love it... and now they are remaking it! i refuse to watch the new one, its not going to be as good as the orignal with kevin bacon.

they did it with fame too, and i refuse to watch that! they are on aout doing it with dirty dancing, im definately not watching that is going to be rubbish without patrick swayze!

why are they so intent on remaking all these classics that didnt need touching in the first place?

i think it`s because people are running out of new idea`s , watched fright night the original the other day , still think it`s a brilliant classic and not a patch on the new one , can`t believe they have redone the thing

i hate remakes of films!! especially the 80s classics... id be really annoyed if they tried to remake lost boys thats my all time favourite film!

i love the lost boys , shouldn`t have bothered with sequels i think i`d be annoyed too , specially if they tried to do a remake of bram stokers dracula that is one of my all time faves

i dont like the second but i like the third one because it has both the frog brothers in and i like the tribute they make to sam in it, showing his picture and stuff claiming he got attacked by a vamp. i think its a nice gesture, seeing as he has died in real life.
