Update on dog in Iraq

I would like to thank the US Embassy for their quick response in dealing with this below their reply to my e-mail
Dear Ms. Phillips,

I have viewed the video clip and I have to say that it made me feel sick to my
stomach. There is no possible excuse for this disgraceful, wanton cruelty and
I personally totally support your opinion.

I forwarded your email to the U.S. Army Attaché and have discussed this with
him. He believes that he has been able to identify the unit. The video has
now been witnessed by staff here and forwarded to the appropriate military
organization within Iraq. I'd like to take the opportunity to thank you for
bringing the matter to our attention and to assure you that it will be treated
extremely seriously, as indeed it should be.

Sincerely,

Anna M. Wereszczynska
Public Affairs Officer
U.S. Defense Attaché Office, London

I am glad you got a response to your email Wildmoor, well done

Having seen the video I am saddened that fellow human beings have so little compassion for another living creature having said that some of the soldiers out there seem to treat the human population with the same disdain

Thank you for posting the response.
I hope they will take this as far as possible - they know the dog loving world is watching them and, if they don`t realise it yet, will not rest until justice is *seen* to be done for this dog and all the other defenceless animals suffering atrocities at the hands of such brutal cowards who think its ok to do to them because those animals can`t fight back or get a lawyer or go to the press or point a weapon back at their sick cowardly abusers.

Well done. I think they will do something about it as they have fallen so much out of favour with the rest of the world they can't afford not to.

Great that you got a response. I hope some kind of disciplinary action will be taken against those involved.
