Lots of lovely doggies I promise you

ALL these dogs are rescues from the Japanese Akita Welfare Trust who have either been rehomed or are up for rehoming, yes even the pups. The situation of homeless Akitas is so dire it's heart breaking, not helped by the recent film 'Hatchi Ko'

Unfortunately YouTube for some reason banned the song which was so fitting, 'Cranberries - Dreams', maybe have that playing on another window in the background

That was really lovely, I put the song on in the back ground. Such shame that different breeds seem so misunderstood.

I had tears in my eyes watching that.

I wonder if the producers of Hatchi Ko realise how much worse they have made the rescue situation....they should make a hefty donation.

I was welling up watching that. It's such a shame so many of these beautiful dogs are being taken on by owners who have no idea of the breed.
