Easter and Family - Collies
COMING SOON
Easter & her little family are coming to Wiccaweys from our friends at Limerick Animal Welfare.
Easter and her six pups were rescued from a very bad situation. Poor Easter was petrified and for a lot of the day she was tied up unable to reach her crying pups. The pups were lying in a box with no bedding whatsoever.
When LAW were able to take over the little family, they went straight to a foster home, where a warm bed, a nice dinner and a big welcome was waiting.
Their foster mum christened the collie Mum Easter and affectionately called the pups the six easter eggs.
Easter was very thin, she was literally a bag of bones - she is gaining weight nicely now. She is very timid and gentle.
Sadly because of their terrible start in life the puppies became very ill, due to a huge infestation of worm burden. The poor little mites spent the weekend in the vets on drips and antibiotics.
Thanks to the care of the vets, and the love and dedication of their foster mum, Marie, 4 babies pulled through, but little Lily & Snoozer sadly crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. The one consoling thought is that they left this world knowing love and kindness, and not just dying in that cold cardboard box.
The other little babies are now fighting fit, and We are all looking forward to seeing Easter blossom and her 4 babies hatch into beautiful dogs like their mum.

*All Wiccaweys dogs are vaccinated, neutered where appropriate, microchipped, flea-treated and wormed before leaving for their new homes.
*All dogs are carefully assessed within a home environment, no Wiccaweys dog is kennelled.
*All potential new Guardians are required to fill in an adoption application form and a homecheck will be carried out.
*All successful new Guardians are required to sign
an adoption contract.
*Lifetime advice, commitment and support to rehomed dogs and their new Guardians.
*Help and advice is available to all.
