I have a lovely, lovely boss

My boss (who is a lovely lady) has given me the day off tomorrow as I had trouble getting home from work this afternoon despite leaving early (I cannot drive in snow - I drive like a girl).

As long as I go to the bank, and make a couple of phone calls from home I'm welcome to work from home/take the day off!

What a great boss

I work for myself... if anyone wasn't sure...

LOL - and did you make Takara trot back and forth from whereever you abandoned the car in the end collecting your stuff - or did you actually manage to get it closer to the house?

LOL Rips!

Kate, no I managed to get it a bit closer (although it took me a good while and the air was a definite shade of blue - it's a good job I have dogs not parrots because I don't think my mother knows I know some of that language) so Takara just stood on the drive watching me go to and from the car with this look on her face that just said 'why doesn't she just bring the car here?'

Hehe... yeah it was Takara really...

She's allowed me to stay home, but there's an ulterior motive - she can play in the snow at home, she can't whilst at the shop as the yard isn't secure
