Eversuffering husbands birthday present

Got eversuffering husband a "special" birthday present this year










There are six hy-line pol hybrids, twenty weeks old, so we are waiting with eggcup in hand for our first eggs

Then on sunday we went to a local poultry auction, saw a small cardboard box making a cheeping noise, looked in side and saw these...














YUP!!!! Thats the cheeping noise, now in a specially built nursey in the big girls run

No idea what they are, cept they are a bantam cross maybe, with nine chicks, but she is a very good mum and really sweet.
