Oscar - just 7 weeks

Got a phone call this morning from Rescue to say little Oscar had died during the night. This was the little one that been found in the river & Rescue had to go into the water to get him & we were going to adopt him. Undernourished & pathetically thin. It was thought he had been thrown in the river

The vet thinks he may have had pnemonia which hadnt shown up or he had picked something up in the river.

Its so sad, had been out during the week & bought new bowls & toys for him. We agonised over his name & grew to love this wee boy that we were bringing home in two weeks. Sadly, it wasnt meant to be .......

Scamper wild & free little Oscar. Play safely & happily with the angels. Your little life was too short.

You touched our hearts & we wont ever forget you xx

Heartbreakingly tragic at least he knew some love in his short life and somebody cared about him. I'm sorry, it's cruel and unfair
