I am in touch with the breeder to see if she has a bitch that would like a pet home.
Lennon needs company, I feel, as he has always had one or two dogs around him (even if he does sleep all day).
He and Mya used to play-fight for ages and do zoomies together. Mum with a ball doesn't quite cut it.
Unfortunately for me (but not for them) there are only two shibas in rescue, neither are suitable as both are dogs.
If the breeder has nothing at the moment, then next stop will be the rescues - Battersea, etc. I am just as happy with a mongrel
Wish me luck, and any advice you have would be taken on board.

Hi Vicki, I've just done exactly the same. My princess went to the bridge at the beginning of last week
By Saturday night we'd been & got a pup, mainly for our other dog Ruby (18mth old lab) as she was walking around crying, wouldnt settle down..she was broken hearted not having her adoptive Mummy there.
We even had to take her up the garden for her wees as she wouldnt go up there alone...
Since getting Sasi, Ruby has been so so so much happier. The change in her back to her normal self is brilliant. She is so happy to play tug of war with the rope toys with Sasi, even drop her beloved ball so Sasi can pick it up (never EVER heard of before lol)
Really happy for you to have found another doggy to take under your wing! Theyll sure love having you as mummy
