1. Bullie, coz I love having a dog that completely ignores me, and I like having the trainer laugh at me when I walk into training class!!

2. Boston Terrier, have a look at my pic of her in the Utility section and tell me you dont love her too!!

3. Rottie, had a girl years ago, she set me on my path to doggie heaven!

number1: is obvious - staffies - cos if I didnt say that Bruno would go in the huff, but mainly because they are such fun, like to act thick, think they are human, and dont listen to me at all !!

2. Bull Mastiffs - cos they are just so gorgeous and noble looking

3.beagles and bassets - just think they look like such fun.

This is very hard I couldn't possibly pick only 3 breeds

My number 1 joint favs are : SBT, American Bulldog, British Bulldog and Dalmatians.

Number 2 would have to be : CKCS

Number 3 would have to be : Great Danes, Ridgebacks, Boxers, Bullmastiffs, DDB's, EBT, Border Terriers, Westies, Labs, Newfoundlands, I could go on and on....The list is endless

Good thread but there's so many dogs that I love but never owned. So, in no particular order.

Springer Spaniel - Loyal, affectionate, full of energy, soft as soap, tough as old boots, intelligent but daft as a brush. Every trait to the extreme.

Irish Wolfhound - Noble, Gentle, Proud, Humble, distinguished.

Mongrel - Everything or anything you could possibly want.

Dogs i'd love to own = Newfoundland, Wolfhound, Deerhound.
