Hi June, that's good news and thank you for repeating the scenario last night as I have been missing from here a few days it was appreciated.

The howling bit is (so far as I know) a real credit to you. When my wife used to go to town on her own (and I stayed with Baruska & Rianna) you could guarantee that Bara would go down to the gate, start howling, and not move one inch until she was almost home, she knew the sound of the car engine and tell me before the car came down the road, she would run up through the old barn to me and drag me down to the gate.

My wife used to say "How did you know I was comming" but latter stopped asking

Never rains but it pours.
Michael has been made redundant. Not surprising I suppose this is the firm who always pay late. Half the office they cannot afford to keep them.
No redundancy payout for him as he hasn't been there long enough. Not paid yet either but said he should be paid for end Of August as the UK MD is understanding and knows the UK employment laws.

Oh Lynn, No. I am so very sorry. Hoping he finds another job very soon, although I know he has been looking already.
Lona's not eating, major shock as she has even eaten right up to, and during, the birth of her puppies. She was whimpering a bit a while ago, and was trying to cuddle her without touching her poor face, then asked her if she wanted to go out, she got up straight away, I opened the front door and after a bit of pacing about she did a very long wee. Think she may have been worried if she could perhaps and was scared to try.
The others have been into the utility to see her, with 2 baby gates and a fireguard between them. She immediately went into the front room, so she doesn't want to socialise at all at the moment. She's just come over for a cuddle and is pretty restless. The anaesthetic will be wearing off now, but they have pumped her full of painkillers and I've got AB's and Loxicam I think it is for the next couple of days
She's back at the vets on Saturday for a check up as it was a big op

Hugs for Lona hope she feels better soon.
I am sure he will at least now he has a valid reason as far as companies are concerned instead of them thinking he is a job hopper.
He is very worried and down about it all.

Rents in london are horrendous so he is worried about that. He says he does have interviews next week. He has to make sure he is happy with the firm if offered a position as he will of had 3 jobs in 12 months and be unemployable.
The reasons the one before this one told him lies about how they worked to get him on board then back tracked and this one obviously never paid on time.
Sure he will be ok though he is good at what he does.

O the darling girl - she is responding exactly as all my boys did after anaesthetic. She will be fine - and her status will be even higher with the rest of the pack. Isn't it lovely that they are all responding positively to her absence. Darling Lona, I am sending big huggles to her from Ben and me xx

Thanks Nikki, she's been to the back door again so I opened the top bit and Mabs and Zen were there, so a bit of sniffing, then she turned round and came back into the kitchen.
She's still not had a drink and is crying a bit. Given her lots of kisses and cuddles and told her how sorry I am, but it would have been worse to have left her how she was. Tried putting water on my fingers and wiping it round her mouth, but she's not having it. I'm going to get a syringe and try to get some in her that way. She's been home 5 hours and had no fluids in her.
