Dog heat - mess preventors and synchronisity!

Bodhi is definately in heat. Proper discharge today

How do people prevent mess? She is currently confined in the kitchen while we hunt out an old pair of pants to stick on her!! Sure she will not like them and pull them off.

I have another question - now, Bodhi appears to have "come on" heat, on the exact same day as me! Coincidence? I know people synchronise, and dogs do, but people and dogs??!!

just keep the mop handy at all times LOL

She is currently sat in a pair of pants and a sanitary towel!

I don't know how you cope. This is the first heat I have ever encountered, and for my sake and Bodhi's, it will be the last!

Poor girl does not look impressed by her new accessory. But very happy she isn't trying to chew it off!

not sure how i cope ...........its part of owning a bitch i just get on with it 3 of mine were in season together last month the mop was very over worked LOL

She can still access her bits, there is just a sort of catching bit for when she is layed/sat down!!

The problem is, that Bodhi comes with me, I am always in my room, and if I'm not - there are cream carpets
