Training Bichon Frise

Can anyone recommened a book that may be useful. I have an eight week old bishon and would love any advice as how to give him the best start.

Sign him up for a training class. Nothing beats some good hands on experience. Go to your vet and ask them if they have any names of local trainers that they would recommend.
