Do you remember those boston x poodles

that the bloke was selling for £1200 for bitches and £1000 for dogs, then he suddenly dropped the price to £550, well now he has advertised the one he has left for £280, lets hope the cross breed craze is finishing, although I think the fact that people are tightening their belts for a recession may help in that respect, although it could mean we see the return of lots of litters of crosses for small amounts

Dont think it will be worth it to breed x's if the price is small......or maybe I'm wishful thinking.

I agree but if there are no health checks and they are using their own dogs and bitches then some will say any money is better than none so if they have 4 pups at £200 each they make think it worth it!

I know of a lady who breeds cockers....uses her own dog time after time, who has just had a litter of 6 pups from her 12.1/2 month old bitch (first season) and she has decided NOT to register them with the KC and sell them for £200.....stud dog nor bitches have had any health tests!!

Makes me sooo mad!!!!!

that makes my blood boil. I'm sat here with two stud dogs and I've still gone out to mate Bronwyn and paid £500 fees. Mainly because its a better pairing.

Was the bitch 12 1/2 months at the time of mating or birth?
Either way it's terrible .

Flynn's breeder couldnt decide what price she wanted for his litter. When I chose him the price was £250 then the next time I looked it had gone up to £350. When I asked her about the price I would be paying she said she had raised it because the dogs were a rare cross and there had been lots of interest (not in it for the money then eh?)

Then they came back down to the original price and then dropped to £200 for the remaining couple which she obviously couldnt shift quick enough.
