My dog thinks I`m a bit dim!

We had a lovely walk today in a newly-opened country park. Daisy and I found a wild area and did a bit of tracking, which was good fun and she loved while Shamus went and bothered rabbits. So then I took off the harness and we went to the lake ...where I realised I`d lost a lead.
I managed to find roughly where we`d been when I last used my bag to mark where a track started and I hunted about in the long grass while Daisy stared at me in bewilderment. I gave up, but she refused to move. I then realised she was sitting beside the lost lead. If a dog could do this she would have.
Aren`t they clever?

It`s the `new` Gunners Park. They`ve finally got round to the access roads after building houses on half of it. From Shoebury Station, cross road into East Beach (now a car park!) and follow path round to right. A new path takes you past the luxury flats that used to block off the beach then left into the new Gunners. Lake, rabbits, good fun.
