Stunning dog, Fred :smt049 :smt049 :smt049 . They are lovely pictures, I especially like the one of Cherie in the mist. Amazing photo.

I'm sorry she only had four years - you obviously adored her and that must have been really tough. Do you mind me asking what happened to her? Don't worry if you don't want to talk about it, I understand.

Our white GSD died at age 8 of hip dysplasia. That was a terribly traumatic time and my parents never had another dog again.

mine had the same problem very sad had to put her down with both hips square bones like dice she wouldn´t even stand up

I know exactly how it must have been, Fred - same with our Simba. Worst thing was, I took him for a walk the very morning he lost use of his legs. It was about 6 am and really foggy - I was 14 - and that evening he was in agony. I blamed myself for a long time. We had to have him put to sleep as there was no hope.

A big hug from me to you, and from Simba to Cherie. Maybe they're up there now, playing together. What a lovely thought.
