Hi and Welcome
Am sure your picking up a friend for life.It will take him a few weeks to settle so you may have a few tears.
I know people who say I am taking a few weeks of ect ect but I think it best to slot him straight in to your routine otherwise they get used to you being there 24/7.
I always say try and buy the best food you can afford.
And he is a lab never leave food out or bins or its gone LOL
Well done as well for getting a rescue as your 1st dog

He's here ! He's gorgeous ! I love him to bits already !

His name is Rocky and he's a 4 yr old black lab. He's following me around the house looking puzzled at the moment ...
