Some of those dogs look so stunning........ I mean. What a waste Im actually in tears now... silly i know.

Another scary thing, this happens (not on this scale) but on a large scale still in America. Some states still use gas chambers to euthanise unwanted dogs in pounds.

So sad... oh and on the news humans have now hit the 7 billion mark. Great.

i think its more likely none native breeds, i do know that many native japanese breeds are still very small in numbers. while i believe the shiba is popular, breeds like the akita inu, kai ken, Hokkaido, Shikoku and kishu have much lower numbers, some are rarer than others.
