2nd sequence isn't play but it isn't a fight. It stresses Champa out and Zeff does it for the reaction to keep himself secure. It sounds appalling as well.

You don't get the full on drawn back mouth in play, you get it as a warning

Tassle - why give me hard ones.. here goes..

1st picture
Siren looks a little tense, puppy from one side and Trip the other.. looks like when Louie does the whole "I'm getting the ball no matter how close you come" ears back and tongue out - not happy?

2nd
I've been told about this, adult dogs put their mouths around puppies mouths to calm them down?

1st sequence
It seems like play?

3rd picture
Is hilarious!
But other than that I can't work out if Zeff got on the wrong side of Trip or if it's the beginning of play?

2nd sequence
Thats play (I think) because if it was anything else Zeff's tail would be between his legs rather than to the side.. and from when I've seen them, dogs don't generally push when it is a submissive ritual - and the people in the back ground are far too calm

I think - they're harder ones
1) Siren was on the verge of growling at the pup for coming too close. She is very tense.

2) He was playing - nothing to do with calming her, just his way of play.

3) It started off as Play, but thwe last two are a telling off as the play became too OTT (poor Zeff, it always happens to him!)

4)Again - he is pushing boundaries - Trip is about to warn him

5) It is the same sort of thing as Layla posted.

Here is it (mild version) in film for you
