Georgie's just got a clean bill of health

Just took Georgie back to the vets coz his ab's run out tomorrow and although he's lookiing good underneath, all the sores have gone, I thought the vet might want him on them longer.

Saw the Israeli chap again, and he really is smitten with my old Georgie, coz he laid down straight away for him and rolled over (not the vet, Georgie!) so he could take a good look at him underneath. He's very, very happy, he can't believe he's 12 years old, and said he's in very good nick. He's prescribed yet another 2 weeks of ab's though which I'm pleased about, coz he wants his belly to be as smooth as a baby's bottom with no pink bits at all, but he's pleased that he isn't scratching at all and there are no sore bits anymore

I asked him what happens once we stop the ab's and it flares up again, so he gave me a wry smile, he knew that I knew kind of thing and said, we just give him more ab's, and considering he was once on them for 3months, that's not a problem I said! I showed him his tail which is almost bald now, especially at the very tip, but I also said I wouldn't want anything done to it unless it was really dire, but he said, it's just the cushings, the coat loss, and it looks fine although a bit pink! Bless his heart, everybody fell in love with him in the waiting room, he went for cuddles to everybody and met a bouncy goldie coz he loves goldie's. What a pity it's a totally different story when I take the other one to the vet, but you never know, I might end up with her being just as good as old Georgie

I can breathe again then, coz he's been given a clean bill of health now

Brilliant news Georgie!!!

That is good news H I'm so pleased. He souds like he actually likes going to the vets. Ours are gettin a bit better and I think you may find Zena calms down a bit in the vets when she is older, of course how much older I can't say
