Just caught this - sounds like a bite/sting to me - they usually swell up - hope you get to the bottom of it at the vets.

What an awful receptionist at the vets - would be complaining about her!

Just caught up with this . Like the others don't think its anything serious, Hope all goes well at the vet. Do keep us posted and try not to worry too much I'm sure Jazz will be fine.

Saw this thread last night, but I was at my sons and couldn't log on.
I really hope all goes well, I'm thinking of you both.

Just as a matter of interest, Mo had a large lump in the side of her face just after we got her.
I panicked much the same as you (who wouldn't?)
My hubby caught hold of her to have a good look and found a large peice of food wedged behind her back teeth
So I hope it is something this simple for you

Heck, I only saw this now too

I am hoping that because it appeared so suddenly it is a reaction to a bite or something, rather than something more serious. I do hope so.

That lady at the vets was out of order saying that - she really ought to be re-trained how to deal with people!
