Help, Big Problem.

please help - i've just discovered a huge (and i mean huge) lump on jazzies face - its the size of a tennis ball!

i brushed both the dogs yesterday and it wasn't there then.

its kind of under her ear but its on her face, if that makes sense.

oh god what if its cancer or something. i'm really scared.

going to ring the vet now.

Bite? Allergic reaction? Salivary gland issue?

Surely with such speedy arrival it can't be serious - fingers crossed!

Hang on Mel, try not to panic.

I can see why you would flip out finding something this big, but if it wasn't there yesterday it might be something like a bite or a sting.

Is it painful for her?

You're right to get the vets advice of course. Let us know how you get on.

Gentle kisses to Jazzie.

just rang the vets and they said they can't see her tonight cos its emergencys only now, the woman then said ' is your dog dying' to which i replied ' i bloody well hope not', she then told me ' well if thats the case you'll have to ring back in the morning'!
HOW RUDE!

All i can remember is last summer when jazzie was so ill that we very nearly lost her - jesus i was a wreck. I can't do that again.

Try not to worry too much. What's she like in herself, is she acting normally?

Hopefully it's nothing too serious, if it has come up so quickly it is more likely to be a reaction to something or a cyst.
I know you must be really worried so let us know what the vet says.

Thinking of you.
