My Cavalier King Charles had severe itching too, and thankfully no unwelcome visitors, my vet thinks she is allergic to something in the air during the summer, and this condition usually starts around the age of 2. she gave her a steroid injection which lasts for 6 weeks and 7 weeks later she is still not itchy.

Right..Im back from the vets...and still no wiser unfortunately! The vet said her skin looked immaculate and she had a beautiful coat! Although thats fantastic...it doesnt solve my problem? He prescribed piruton as he was rather baffled and said it could be an allergy to something?

He also gave me some more frontline, although didnt think it could possibly be fleas as she has been frontlined only 3 weeks ago??

I know skin problems are generally hard to identify..ive been there myself!! I just hope that this medication will help!!! xxxxx
