Everyone, meet Charlie the Clydesdale!

Ok so he's not actually mine! But my friend did let me ride him today and we're taking him to the beach on Thursday if the weather holds...

He's absolutely stunning! Lives in a field with 3 others near my house and he isn't even the biggest!!! I had soooo much fun on him even if he is a bit of a plodder!

We took him to visit our boss in the shop we work in and also to see my dad but mostly wandered round the estate he lives on. Fabulous way to spend the afternoon!!!

And finally, a horses eye view!

Thanks for looking! xoxox

He is really easy going! A bit of a lazy sod really! Only 5 years old though so still just a baby... Unbelievable when you see how big he is!

He's a beauty isn't he? I'll have to get pictures of the rest of them. There's a 2 year old in the field with him called Katy and I fell in love with her when I saw her!

I had a brilliant time! Soooo much fun! I'm 5'7 and had to climb on top of a fence to get on him, the height was a bit disconcerting to begin with but you soon get used to it Getting off was quite a drop too though

They're gorgeous aren't they!? Definitely built for power and not speed though... It took us ages to get anywhere today cos he was just plodding along enjoying the scenery...

Thats what I love about them though. I've ridden ex racehorses and horses that are only happy when all four hooves are off the ground but I prefer the plodders. At least you get to take in your surroundings!!
