Healing thoughts please

For my beautiful Inca, she has developed open Pyometra and is going to have full hysterectomy at 11 am today, im so worried for her, we've had an awful day, bloody vet couldnt be got hold of till 9pm, not his fault I know, but i was panicking, she has temp of 103 so not too bad, had shots of antibiotics and paracetamol, she is quite comfy at the mo, sprawled on the sofa fast asleep, god love her.

Yes I agree it is a messy business, very scary too, I hope you can have a little nap through the night to keep you going. Try not to worry to much, at least its open pyo so you know what is going on.
