Does anyone use water bottles for dogs in crates?

Does anyone use some kind of water bottle for use with a crate? I'm thinking that a bowl will get trodden in and a water bottle might be better.

Thanks.

You can get "coop cup" type bowls that hook/screw onto the bars at whatever height you wish, these might be a good solution.

No I use a stainless steel non spill travel bowl which is fixed into bolt on clamp on the cage and cannot be dislodged from underneath.

You can get coop cups (designed for birds) that hook or clamp on the cage bars but my dogs knock them out from underneath.

You can also get non spill travel bowl made of plastic that you can insert into a bowl holder.

Hi LS I have a stainless steel bowl which fits into a bracket and screws to the bars, it came with the crate.
I used it for a short time when Millie and Chloe were puppies and used a crate, it worked well.

readily available if you search on Google ...

Yep ,,I will take one later ..
See if i can get one with Oz using it too..
He would rather drink from it than his bowl and will open the crate door and sit in front of it and drink ...
